Congressman Dan Maffei today responded to local concerns about the speed and efficiency of the Cash for Clunkers program with the following statement:
“The Obama Administration has told me that they are ramping up staff to expedite the voucher review process so dealers can get their rebates quickly or be notified that additional information is needed in their applications. Specifically, an additional 1,000 federal employees from around the country are being detailed to review applications.”
